Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) offers a commuter pass for all Maryland residents

When traveling to Nature’s Care and Wellness from points south of Perryville, you must cross the Susquehanna River. At one crossing, the Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge on Route 40, you will incur a toll. But the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) offers a commuter pass for all Maryland residents at a rate of $20 a year for unlimited crossings. Find it here (hyperlink: www.mdta.maryland.gov).  If you are currently an EZPass customer you can add this to your current transponder.  If you are not an EZPass customer you can purchase a transponder specifically for crossing this bridge.
