Congratulations to the NCW Employee of the month- Abby! Abby is a talented artist. When you see the board at NCW – the bright graphics and cool lettering… that’s Abby! Abby always has a bright when you walk through the door. She is an amazing team member and NCW is lucky to have her. We asked Abby a few questions, here is what she had to say-
Q. Abby, why did you choose NCW?A. I chose NCW because it was where I felt the most welcome, every single time I came as a patient before I worked here. The kindness of the staff isn’t typical customer service where you feel like you’re talking to robots — I felt like I was genuinely being listened to and cared for no matter who it was that was helping me.
Q. How has cannabis impacted your life?A. Cannabis impacted my life enough to have me change my whole initial career path so that it was more focused directly within the industry. This medicine that has changed my life and the lives of so many people around me in such a profound way, and I feel incredibly privileged to be able to help patients with their own cannabis journeys now too.
Q. What do you do for fun?A. I’m an artist! I do a lot of mixed media but I’ve pretty much always loved drawing and painting. Art has been a consistent & lifelong hobby of mine that brings me a lot of peace ; I have also always loved the sense of community that art naturally creates, just like it has with cannabis.
