A well deserved congratulations is in order for James Mears as he has been selected as NCW Employee of the Month for November!
James has displayed characteristics that embody what NCW is all about. James works very well with the entire NCW squad, learns quickly and is passionate about the plant and patients. Patients know they can have a good time with James and learn a lot while doing so. James also stepped up to the plate and started to help with the NCW text messages shortly after he started!
James is an advocate for mental health awareness. Let’s find out more….
1. What made you ch00se NCW?
I choose NCW initially because I had a close friend that worked there, but once I got in, I realized that they care about their employees a lot! They push me to be my best through encouragement and compassion. They are patient with me when I’m struggling. Also, getting to be in an environment of learning has been fantastic as we are always teaching each other more about cannabis and its importance!
2. How has cannabis impacted your life?
Cannabis has helped me deal with al of of side effects that come with being on anti-depressants. CBD and THC together have helped with my nausea and anxiety greatly. They also help relieve a lot of the pain I have from having scoliosis. I am bipolar as well, so when I am feeling manic, it helps calm me down and focus on things I need to, like breathing! Cannabis truly has so much more medicinal value than just “getting high” and I’m incredibly proud to be a part of the de-stigmatization movement for cannabis!
3. If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
If I could go anywhere I would want to go to New Zealand to see hobbiton where they filmed ‘The Lord of the Rings’. I want to walk the path Frodo and Same walked. Yes, I am a nerd!
