Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Second Annual NCW/MPX Sponsored Crab Feast. We had an amazing time with our patients, families, and friends. A crowd of over 800 hung out, smiled, broke bread and came together in celebration of what we are all doing to end the stigma. As our patient base grows, we are seeing more and more conditions arise that cannabis is helping provide symptom relief and increased the quality of life. Q. Why did you choose NCW?
A. Well, I started at Nature’s Care and Wellness as a security guard. Being in the store changed my whole attitude toward cannabis.
Q. How did you get into cannabis?
A. Talking to staff and patients I saw the benefits of using cannabis.
Q. Is Maryland your home state?
A. I’m from a military family born in Washington DC. I joined the Army and retired in Maryland. I am a Vietnam Veteran.
NCW DOMESTIC VIOLENCE FUNDRAISER
October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, so we thought – what better time to work together and throw a fundraiser for Cecil County domestic violence programs CASA and The Mary Randall House. This fundraiser is NCW and Vireo sponsored. It will take place on October 27th at the North East VFW Post 6027 from 12-5 PM. This will be an indoor event with approximately 25 vendors. Gift baskets will be raffled off along with a 50/50 to raise funds for the programs. NCW is collecting donations now through the event. If you would like to donate, vend or submit a basket please contact Pam at dollychad88@gmail.com. This is a family-friendly event and food will be available for purchase at the VFW.
